As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in MILWAUKEE, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to the comfort and confidence of all those on site. You will interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure atmosphere. Pay Rate: $28.28 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age

Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help maintain a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
  • Support Allied Universal management by following all post orders and instructions specific to the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
