As a Security Professional - Patrol Specialist in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role is vital in providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage location, including the business premises and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of observed incidents, irregularities, and daily activities as required.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities when necessary regarding occurrences at the location.
• Observe and report any anomalies or concerns related to security-related matters or property conditions within the assigned post.
• Support a welcoming and secure environment for employees, visitors, and patrons within the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
