As a Security Officer - Education Patrol Lead in PHILADELPHIA, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate with campus personnel, visitors, and students in a professional manner to address inquiries and provide assistance.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Support the implementation of campus policies and/or emergency plans as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
