As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Supervisor in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol a busy retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the proper authorities and/or management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to the location.
• Support a welcoming environment for customers, vendors, and employees while maintaining security-related awareness.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
