Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Boston, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling a food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and high visibility. This is a driving post, so you will spend much of your shift in a company vehicle, conducting route checks and responding to alarms as needed. Your role will include providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and contributing to a secure environment by embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.
  • Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and reporting any concerns to Allied Universal management.
  • Document activities, observations, and incidents in detailed reports as required by site protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordination with first responders if needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
