As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all. Your visible presence will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position is also a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to support access control and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs as observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies as needed.
  • Remain alert to the unique environment and needs of a food and beverage processing facility while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
