As a Security Professional - Chemical Access Control Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be required. What You'll Do:

  • Control access to the chemical or petrochemical location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing access badges as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
  • Observe and report any unusual or security-related activity to proper authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
