As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrols in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol unarmed within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergencies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, property damage, or unauthorized persons at the location.
• Work in environments and conditions that may vary by the specific site, adapting to the needs of a financial institution setting.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
