What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any conditions that require attention.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the proper authorities and/or management.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment while helping to deter theft and other security-related concerns typical in a retail and distribution setting.
• Support Allied Universal and the client by adhering to all site-specific security-related policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
