As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an access control role within a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and monitoring of assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the warehouse and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel and management to address security-related concerns and support operational needs.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and changing conditions at the logistics and distribution location to help to deter potential threats.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
