Job Description


As a Security Officer - Front Desk Healthcare in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in welcoming all visitors, managing access control, and providing a positive first impression. Your customer service skills will help to create a professional and supportive atmosphere at this important location. You will be responsible for monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting staff, patients, and guests with security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Assist with access control by greeting, screening, and directing visitors within the healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, deliveries, and any security-related incidents.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by following outlined procedures and coordinating with other personnel as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
