As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Dispatcher in Niskayuna, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients and their teams. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Monitor and coordinate communication between security personnel and/or site staff to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing provided protocols and resources.
• Maintain logs and document all dispatch communications and incident reports, ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping.
• Operate communication devices and dispatch systems to relay information and instructions to security teams and/or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and responding to requests for assistance from employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to help to deter unauthorized access and support the overall security-related operations of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required and proof must be provided as required by the client.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
