Job Description


As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver Unarmed in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities observed during patrols within the assigned area.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with site supervisors, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Remain alert to environmental conditions and report hazards or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
