As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. This position requires driving responsibilities, as you will navigate the premises to support ongoing operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to de-escalate issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual behavior, or unauthorized persons in restricted areas.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and management to address security-related concerns and facilitate a positive environment for patients and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any actions taken during the shift.
  • Support Allied Universal’s commitment to customer service and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) as required by the client.
  • Applicants must provide proof of vaccination as required by the client for hospital assignments.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
