As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, managing badge control, and providing outstanding customer service. You will also utilize computer systems or tablets to support daily security-related operations and respond to any access or alarm panel concerns. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk location, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document details as needed.
• Communicate professionally with people entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to support a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed to report concerns or escalate issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
