As a Security Officer - Transportation Access Control in Bell Gardens, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic transportation location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and being visible throughout the area to help create a secure environment for everyone. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies at the transportation location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals and vehicles entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following outlined protocols for transportation environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with on-site personnel and local authorities when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional presence and provide assistance to clients, employees, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
