As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact regularly with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related concerns that arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors and/or delivery personnel while maintaining a presence throughout the location.
• Document incidents, observations and interactions according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
