As a Security Officer - Flex in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols within an automotive environment. Your primary role will involve remaining visible throughout the location, monitoring activity, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter, observing for irregularities and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
  • Support overall security-related operations to help to deter and respond to potential risks within the auto industry location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Driving is a primary responsibility for this position and prior driving experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
