As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Salisbury, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer where you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a bustling food and beverage production environment. You will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and high visibility, while providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and communications as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and to observe activity in accordance with site policies.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and personnel to provide assistance and relay information regarding security-related matters.
• Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including coordination with local emergency services if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
