As a Security Officer - Federal Building Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your routine patrols and strong communication skills will support a welcoming and secure environment for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report on all activities and/or incidents that may occur during the shift, documenting details as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to support security-related objectives and maintain order within the location.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set by Allied Universal and the specific government site.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
