As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Assist store employees and visitors with security-related concerns or questions as needed.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
• Follow all company and client policies related to security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
