As a Security Officer - Front Desk Commercial Building in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve as the first point of contact at a commercial real estate location. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will remain visible at the front desk, address inquiries with professionalism, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any unusual activities or potential security-related concerns.
• Assist in emergency response activities such as evacuations or medical situations as directed.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and property management as required.
• Complete daily reports and documentation related to front desk operations and/or security-related incidents as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
