As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech Sector in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment, as you interact with employees and visitors and respond to situations as needed. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and involves routine patrols to maintain visibility throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity within the site to help support site integrity and protect property.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed for security-related matters.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
