As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or other incidents as required by site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to residents, staff, and visitors at the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and site management regarding security-related matters.
• Support access control measures, monitor entrances and exits, and identify unauthorized persons as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
