As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Your role will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting employees and visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols across the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting any concerns.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or access through visible presence and active patrolling.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and requests for assistance according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with site staff, visitors, and/or employees as needed to support site operations and security-related needs.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client guidelines to maintain a professional presence and contribute to a secure work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
