As a Security Professional - Education Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a positive campus environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns within the educational environment.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as needed.
• Document all security-related incidents and maintain detailed logs according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted behavior and to provide assistance when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
