As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Driver in Buford, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with the implementation and enforcement of site-specific security-related procedures and protocols.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from staff, visitors, and delivery personnel in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at access points in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist in documenting and reporting any unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity at entry and/or exit points.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and on-site staff to support a secure environment for logistics and distribution operations.
• Conduct periodic inspections of entry and/or exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
