As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Manufacturing in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining order at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and respond to various situations as they arise. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are essential as you interact with employees, visitors, and clients, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of agility, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any security-related matters swiftly.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client contacts to address site-specific concerns and contribute to a secure environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities according to required protocols and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
