Job Description


As a Security Professional - Patrols Full-Time in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals at the location. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere and upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas as required by site policies.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel or management.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to help to maintain a secure environment.
  • Complete all required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
