As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full-Time in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate contacts as outlined in site procedures.
• Support access control protocols by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas at the residential location.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff, providing assistance or information as requested while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
