As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in Mount Vernon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location, including the perimeter and designated areas.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist in controlling access to the location and verify credentials of personnel and visitors as required by site instructions.
• Work collaboratively with client representatives and other Allied Universal personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
