As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Eugene, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related issues or irregularities found during patrols, documenting incidents accurately.
• Maintain a visible security-related presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and facility personnel to address security-related concerns and support the healthcare environment's needs.
• Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site-specific policies.
• Support emergency preparedness drills and participate in response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
