As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout transportation locations, remaining highly visible and engaging with individuals to foster a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at transportation locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transportation facilities and their perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and law enforcement as necessary.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of security-related situations, including those requiring an armed presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
