As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and vigilance will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will enhance the experience for everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, maintaining professionalism throughout interactions with staff, visitors, and/or patients.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to assist with security-related matters and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or situations, promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Assist in controlling access to the healthcare facility, checking identification as needed and monitoring entrances and exits.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or appropriate license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
