As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in KALAMAZOO, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere for all. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and/or foot. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while acting with integrity and putting people first.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual occurrences.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Complete security-related documentation and reports accurately and promptly as required by site procedures.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related issues specific to healthcare locations and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Assist with access control measures, monitoring entry points, and verifying credentials as needed in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
