As a Security Officer – Financial Facility Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and/or unauthorized activities.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to visitors and staff.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to company and client procedures.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
