As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols in Lorain, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in the healthcare environment, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, working with staff and visitors to address concerns as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support the healthcare facility staff and visitors with directions, information, and access control as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Follow all site-specific post orders, procedures, and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the healthcare facility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Private Investigator License unarmed is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
