As a Security Officer – Auto Facility Entry Control in Woodstock, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.

As an Access Control Officer within an automotive location, you will monitor entry points and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be responsible for verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and providing a strong Allied Universal presence. This position requires driving as part of the responsibilities. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and logging all visitors and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access procedures while providing a positive customer experience.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for any security-related concerns or irregularities, as required by post orders.
  • Follow all site-specific policies and procedures set by Allied Universal and the client location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
