As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Lead Government in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence throughout assigned areas. You will provide exceptional customer service while remaining alert to potential issues, responding quickly and professionally as situations arise. This armed position allows you to play an integral role in creating a secure environment for all who visit or work at the site. Pay Rate: $27.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and/or persons and take appropriate action according to established protocols.
• Complete incident reports and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Attend required training sessions and maintain all necessary certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Hold a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
