As a Security Officer - Retail Dispatch Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities throughout the property. Your responsibilities include maintaining communication with team members, managing incident reports, and supporting routine patrols to help to deter incidents. Your role will contribute to a welcoming environment for patrons and staff while delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Operate dispatch systems and communication equipment to monitor and coordinate security-related activities within the retail or mall environment.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of incidents, communications, and activities occurring during the shift.
• Relay information to security personnel and/or emergency services as needed to support security-related operations.
• Support regular and random patrols by communicating with on-site staff to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
• Assist with access control and visitor management through remote monitoring and communication channels.
• Participate in emergency response activities by coordinating communications and alerting relevant parties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
