As a Security Officer - Education Patrol in Auburn, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas at an education location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and offer peace of mind to students, staff, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment, all while upholding our values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, keeping in mind the needs of an educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregularities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining access control at various points around the location, following client policies.
• Support Allied Universal leadership and work collaboratively with campus staff to address client needs and support a secure educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
