As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and grant entry to authorized personnel to help control site access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and Allied Universal as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate as required by the client.
• Familiarity with computers or tablets is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
