As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a positive customer experience while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and innovation. You will play a key role in fostering a caring culture where teamwork and integrity come first, making a real difference in the daily operations of this dynamic location.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual behavior.
• Observe entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and identify suspicious activities.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions or requests, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns in the retail environment.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to maintain a secure shopping environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
