As a Armed Security Professional - Resource Center in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding professionally to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Armed responsibilities are a key component of this post, requiring you to demonstrate sound judgment and a commitment to our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any incidents or suspicious behavior in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to assist in helping to deter potential threats within the government facility.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required, following all relevant procedures.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Carry authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and all applicable laws, demonstrating responsible handling at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Must possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
