As a Security Officer - Distribution Screener in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and embody Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures for access control, screening processes, and emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with inquiries while maintaining professional conduct during screening operations.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or critical situations, supporting appropriate resolution and communication as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of screening activities and observations, reporting any suspicious persons, items, or activities according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site representatives to support a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
