As a Security Officer - Healthcare Entry Screener in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, greeting visitors, and checking credentials to support a secure environment. Your presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while upholding Allied Universal's core values of integrity, teamwork, and caring. You will play a vital role in assisting patients, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service while promoting an agile and reliable culture that puts people first.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and screen all individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents within the facility.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with information and directions as needed.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and submit reports as required by site protocols.
• Adhere to all infection control and health screening protocols as directed by the healthcare facility.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate with healthcare staff and visitors in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
