As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Dispatch in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related communications and activities. Your responsibilities include facilitating routine patrol updates, dispatching officers as needed, and providing exceptional customer service while communicating with team members and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate dispatch systems to coordinate security-related activities throughout the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Maintain communication with security personnel and site management to relay information and respond to requests for assistance.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and communications clearly and accurately.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with information and directions related to security-related matters.
• Collaborate with on-site security staff to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment within the facility.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support emergency response efforts by coordinating with local authorities, emergency personnel, and on-site teams as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
