As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Patrols in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a financial institution location, you will perform unarmed patrol duties, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular monitoring and visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, engaging with people on-site to provide exceptional customer service, and maintaining open communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document observations and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor for compliance with location policies and procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client management with security-related tasks as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Possess a valid law enforcement officer license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
