As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving position, where you will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with the public to provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while upholding site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical points, ensuring only authorized personnel have access, and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Cooperate with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
• Adhere to all armed post protocols, including proper handling and maintenance of assigned weapons and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
