As a Security Officer - Patrol in Saint Joseph, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas in a dynamic food and beverage production location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, offer guidance to team members and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a crucial role in supporting a secure environment through teamwork, agility, and integrity, while upholding our company's caring and people-first values.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any irregularities within the food and beverage production environment.
• Document and report any unusual observations or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Work closely with site personnel and visitors to address security-related inquiries and provide information as required.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious behavior, contributing to a secure environment for staff and visitors within the location.
• Follow all site-specific guidelines and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
